These flip book magazine's are a waste of time. Trying to shoe-horn one format into another... It's the internet so make a website!!!

I have always liked this:
http://www.magwerk.com/
I like how they use the magazine layout, but nonetheless enhance the content with multimedia, i.e. sound, little animations, aso...
but it's probably custom made, and not just converted.

But then how do you get to a page you want or find the info you're interested in? By clicking through every page? Annoying!

I'm not a fan of this flipbooks things, but sometimes there is no budget or time to relayout the content of a mag to web. If you use flipbooks, try to enhance them a bit with interactive technologies.
but you are right yerolda, it is better just to transport the content to the new medium and not the format.

with flippingbook you have to create your own pages, no?
there are companies that will convert the PDF you send them into a flickbook for a wee charge. not used their services.
some look really bad and have crap interaction so shop around.the flipbooks are nice if you are utilising page spreads etc - as it will be more like a magazine experience rather than just scrolling through a PDF.
