Hi guys,
Was wondering whether you'd be able to help me out... I've just had a vague request from the boss to have a look into how to create an ebook.
Now, unless I'm mistaken, isn't an eBook just like a PDF that you have to view on one of those PDA-type readers?
Are there any cool examples of what can be done with them? or any easy way of creating them?
Thanks in advance guys.

Adobe Acrobat Pro will do it for you. You could probably even use InDesign to compile the book, and then convert it to an ebook via Acrobat.

from a blog (http://gadgets.boingboing.net/2... about the kindle reader.
"Its eBooks have DRM (filetype: .AZW), but it supports unprotected Mobipocket books (.MOBI, .PRC), .TXT files, HTML, and Word. Some files can be transferred over USB, while others have to be emailed to the special per-device Kindle email. (More on that later.)"
