Cinema 4D bugs

As much as I love working in this program and how easy it is to learn, I find it so buggy that my project is in serious jeopardy.
I'm trying to scale things with key frames on a timeline and it's changing the scale for the whole timeline. I have some other issues, but that's my life-threatening issue right now.
Anyone know if there's a fix?

can you post a picture of what's happening? or post the file to see if it's recreatable or just something on your box?

My problem is with the object CA HIPS plane at frame 464. I would like to scale it down, starting at that point and finishing at its next key frame on frame 510. If I scale it down there, it's the same size starting at frame one. This is pretty basic stuff, so I don't think I'm getting it wrong. I even created a new object CA HIPS plane morph just for that section, but I can't even get it to change just once for me. Any suggestions for a workaround would be greatly appreciated.

Possibly an object parenting issue? I know, simple stuff, but have you double checked your groups and what's parented to what?

have you tried adjusting the f curves of your key frames?
i did that and it seems to scale fine.

demafleez, that was the answer. I don't know why I couldn't handle it the normal way, but this will do. Thanks a lot!!
