To all those who use a green screen with adobe after effects:
I was wondering where I could go about getting/making one for cheap. I really don't want to spend $150 - $300 on one just for some experiments with it. So did any of you guys make your own and if so - what specific color did you use and where and what did you make it out of?

i typically use green.

also, youtube is your friend for learning how to do green screen chroma keying on the cheap.
- yeah, but most are sub par i really want to make a clean cut nice one - if it's possibleshinpo

you can buy chroma key paper in big roles, we use it all the time B&H has it in blue and green, just make sure you light it evenly...

We painted a wall in our studio, the key is to light it evenly. After Effects keylight works fantastic.

and do you guys think green or blue works better - or either?
- that depends on the color space of your camera. it's not a matter of "works better."jamesomega
