Looks good... I got my invitation a few hours ago, so now I have a lot of work to do...
Like find some clients worthy of a folio piece... hehe

I wouldn´t use it. but indeed it looks very nice.

got the invite too this morning, but they say it's gonna be free for a year and then maybe a small fee applies .. well .. by then there are probably better alternatives to this ..
one big advantage is that you don't have to host anything on your server but you can host everything on theirs and just redirect with your url.. pretty nice..
And the interface and ease of use seems to be pretty solid, gonna try this out tonight i think..

just rip the code and do it on your ownsite :p

would be cool if they release the code to install on your own host.

i got an invite last week and went and had a look.
i'll be getting a portfolio together to put on there and see how it goes.if they want to charge me in a year then il make a decision then whether or not to carry it on. but for the moment its a good way for me to get a new folio up there without loads of work on a new site - just concentrate on the content!
theyve got about 5 styles up there to choose from at the moment, they say they'll be adding more. you can also tweak the css of each style.
maybe in the future when people start developing their own CSS's we'll see more templates on offer.
they 'could' maybe make it so that you could create your own css then sell it - like they do with wordpress templates??

A a piece of cyberspace, re-direct your DNS to cargofolio url, bingo!!!!
surely I want to host it on my site?
- uncle_helv0
You're asking the wrong bloke to be honest, I'm about as web savvy as a caveman with a kettle, but I registered my domain/url with 1&1. In the admin area of cargo there is a handy little box, where by you type in your desired url, save it, then I went back to my host and re-directed my cargofolio.com/username to the DNS panel in my host/domain dashboard, I was surprised it worked, but it did!!!!
So I am now, finally on-line!!!!

I think it can be very useful (especially for people are not web designers / developers), as long as people can customize the design to a certain extent. Looks better than Indexhibit.
Personally, I may expect more from a webby.
- But you can use this for side projects and concepts, perhaps?juhls
- mistermik0
ah balls i canny do it as i need ftp for day to day.

I've been messing around with this the last couple of days...it's actually way better than indexhibit imo. The fact that you can change the CSS within the page rather than going to dreamweaver is good for a novice like myself...I might scrap my old site and use this bad boy from now on..
