Let us not forget anyone who posts pictures in the, "Pic of the Day" thread without the permission of the original owner exhibits piracy and will be held accountable for their actions.
This is ridiculous - the internet was created to SHARE.

I mean why don't we bring this ridiculousness even a step further. Anyone has taken a picture of a landmark or another poster or logo exhibits piracy. You didn't pay the owner of the material anything - and all you did was make a copy of the original.

- yes I suppose if you take a picture of statue it wouldn't be, but of a logo yesshinpo
- Sort of, but it depends if it's for personal use or to be resold or for *art* and so on. It gets complicated pretty quickly.pylon

One thing I have wondered about -
If you use a stock photo in a client project design and then post a screenshot of it including the photo in your portfolio, isn't that technically copyright infringement?
