Am I the only one who likes the Emily Carr logo?
- boobs0
- This would be much more appropriate to an art school.boobs
- I don't know. There's quite a few losers, weirdos, loners and immature young people with no experience in sex at art schoolsVectorMasked

woah! Great find akrok!
Shit's like identital to that istock turd.
Big fail imo. That new logo is just not good enough.
- designer4rent0
so do you think the face works?
- VectorMasked0
yes!!!
I knew it looked like the work of Dino. His letter "c" is unmistakable.

Prelo Book

Nope. that's not klavika.
It reminds me a little of Priva, Apex new or Elektra... but they aren't the ones used either.
- designer4rent0
oh dear. Are they using klavika as there font too?

Not a bad logo, but another classic case of designers copying designers
- version30
i feel as if someone there actually said and meant "make the logo bigger" overbearing, out of scale, poorly spaced and already dated

HOLY CRAP, isnt that same as Sprint Campaign by Goodby?
And same as other light streak induced design / art?

The last logo was ugly and this is not much better.
This is much too similar to the wine bottle that Karacter designed 10 years ago.

knowing ECIAD and its way i'd guess this logo redesign was:
95% theory and discussion, 5% applied design time.
a rich concept and meaning is great, but sometimes a logo also has to be memorable and just simply look good.

Oh no!
I liked the previous... or at least I was used to it This one is a bit generic.
I am actually stopping by Emily Carr later today... will attempt to get my hands on some print material to see if they started using it and how.
