client wants to do a monthly rewards email newsletter for their money market and/or banking clients. the client is a bank. their initials are SCB, and i wanted to do something clever that used those letters too, but am having a hard time completing a phrase that makes sense.
savings, community and bonuses just doesn't have the right ring.
any thoughts?
on that subject, anyone have a link to some email newsletter design resources? such as examples of best practices, HTML restrictions/best practices. kind of new and unfamiliar territory for me here.
thanks a bunch!

If I used a SaaS, id use verticalresponse.com, hands-down.
i'm looking more for information on creating templates from scratch on your own, and the best practices/restrictions for doing so.
great tries on the letters. super creative.

Campaign monitor has all the resources you are looking for, you don't need to use them to send but they have article on best practice, what email clients support what and what you can use etc etc etc.

Hey, Mat from Campaign Monitor here. We have some specific pages that might be of interest:

Quality of the email list is very important. If you're sending through a 3rd party like any of the SAAS's they won't like you if more than a few percent bounce. You're putting their good reputation at risk if the bank's email list is old or hastily assembled.
