If you've set up an iGoogle home page, you've no doubt noticed the many changes in the last few months, one of which is the recent addition of chat. Previously you were only logged into chat when you visited Gmail and could safely check your email through iGoogle without having everyone see you available.
Worse yet, you can't get rid of it. And if you log yourself out there, it applies to the rest of your settings and messes with 3rd party apps like Adium. C'mon Google, let me turn this "feature" off, FFS.
Anyone else get peeved by this?

you could avoid that by using somethink like pageflakes or netvibes... however its a pain in the arse moving all your feeds and widgets over... i hear ya!
