does anyone out there know of a way, or is there a compiled list somewhere that shows the default styles for HTML tags in each browser?
for instance all HTML tags come with default formatting, and even though you can set global resets on margin and padding and etc, i'm curious if there is any documentation or anyway to see the default styles.
just for my own curiousity.
thanks

found this recommendation for HTML 4
http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/sampl…
but there is no guarantee that all browsers implement this the same way. also, it seems incomplete.i wonder if there is an script or bookmarklet that you can run, say, through greasemonkey that can show you the default styles...

Thanks for the link. To be honest I've never given this any thought.
