Hi all,
Just got my new website up and running. Still need to put some more work on it but you will get the picture. Please let me know what you think.

Very nice, polished work! The site is nicely done as well. I would prefer to see larger images, but I guess that's more of a suggestion instead of a critique.

larger images, navigation is somewhat slugglish
> nice portfolio
- Thx. utopian. What do you mean when you say slugglish?CphGD
- when clicking through using the arrows, slow to react... slow fadein of imagesutopian
- navigation seems to have sort of delay on it, I like thing instantly, might just be me?utopian
- Slow fade-in is the intention. I like that but I will look at the reaction time. Thx : )CphGD
- The images seem delayed after I click the arrow for next...utopian
- It doesn't look that that in my browser. How fast is your connection?CphGD
- And what browser do you use?
And finally. Mac or PC?CphGD - I think he means the programmed delay and request for the image rather than a browser/connection issue.Jnr_Madison
- Once cached it loads instantly for me.Jnr_Madison
- mac, osx 10.5.6, 2.8 Ghz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, Safariutopian
- That is almost excactly my set-up. I will find out why. Thx. for pointing it out!CphGD
- good night:)utopian
- Sweet dreams!CphGD

Some nice work, good stuff. I see you've set it up for 1024x768 but bigger images, as mentioned, would good.

I second the larger images...

Not bad.
Only thing is is that you should keep your browser title consistent.
entering the site has your name + art direction then it gets redirected to another page and it then says "welcome" and after that it changes to whatever project I click on.Can be annoying bookmarking a site that has to proper title and nowhere to be found under one's bookmarks.

and add a favicon FTW!
no site title and no favicon = hard to find if bookmarked.

nice site !
while everything is so light, why the heavy condensed typeface in the begiining and then another serif... seems break the harmony,
the hight light for the navigation is not enough contrast while on mouse,
the arrow is too small, make the target area bigger?
logo area, sometime logo too big and heavy make other look too light, the weight needs visual balamce. repeat your logtype is not necessary...
just minor things, you are gold

Agree on typist's point about the initial, heavy typeface — other than that, fantastic work, and a clean, easy to use site. Well done.

Very good points from all of you and thank you for the nice words : ) I will for sure change the browser title and the intro type asap. The rest will be done in the next big update...

Any comments?

Very nice

First things first: Why are your work and info buttons so far down on the page? I clicked the text at the top several times and expected that to do something. I've got a high resolution on my screen, but don't have the browser maximized.
Anyhow, I highly suggest changing that. The fact that the link to your portfolio is going to be hidden on the page, "below the fold" for a large number of people is terrible usability.
- Work is very nice, BTW - some simple improvements to the site would be great though. :)mg33

Also - I think the navigation words should be larger. At the size and color they currently are, they are too close to the background color, and don't blend well.
Again, I think this stuff could all be at the top of the page where people would expect it.

Hi there, a few quick comments. Overall I like it very much and your work is great. I would suggest a simple loader for the images, or a rollover/on click state for the arrows—something for the user to know that their interaction had a result. As the next image loads nothing happens right away, so it seems like a delayed reaction when it eventually fades in. And as a matter of personal taste, the transitions/fades seem a little slow. Love the overall aesthetic though.

I'm kind of with grumpymonkey on the arrows as well. i think you should make the entire height of the left or right of the viewing area a hit state for the arrow, with a maybe 50% gray transparency over that height to show that you have moused into that section.

reminds me a loy of http://www.trevor-jackson.com/
his works a lot better though as he is loading all of his images sequentially in advance of you clicking next so you don't get the lag. and generally just feels more solid.
some really nice work on your site though.
