I would like the option of just ordering the same thing I did the week before to save time.
- Fresh Direct offers that feature.
See below.monospaced - Yeah this is certainly new functionality we are recommending!jevad
- it must'nt be parknshop :P they have that functionality. come on then, who's it :Dephix

I do it all the time. In NYC we have Fresh Direct (www.freshdirect.com) and they are amazing. The produce is actually better than what you'd normally find in the grocery store as it is hand picked before the stores even get their deliveries. The prices are also very comparable.

One of the best features I enjoy about Fresh Direct is the ability to schedule a delivery between 8-11pm, or between 6-9am (around normal business hours).
The ability to modify an order once it's been placed is also great. I always forget to add something, and it's nice to be able to go online and edit the order before it's delivered.
- How long before the delivery can you edit it?jevad
- I think up until 10pm the night before...I believe they spend the night packing the orders.monospaced

I don't order the delivery. I like going to the store, because there are some way sexy babes working the cash registers.

i use fresh direct... its great and super easy. the extra money i spend on their delivery charges makes up for the lack of stuff i will ever have to carry again. http://www.freshdirect.com/index…

I've always found it a bit sketchy in the way that, I don't get to see the produce / meat that I'm buying.. I don't know who's choosing it, and i don't know their aptitude in judging a good piece of fruit, or meat etc. Although, if I lived in NYC, I would use freshdirect.

brains,
Fresh Direct actually boasts food experts who hand-choose the produce for you (on your specifications, too), and expert butchers for meat and fish. You can get very detailed. My experience is that they are better than any grocery store in this department, surpassing even my highest expectations (and I love gourmet).
- and since they stock the highest quality, you don't really have to "see" it firstmonospaced
- wow, I sound like I work for themmonospaced

Hahah thanks all esp. mono for your detail!

I used Stongs.com The site is really basic, and a little long winded when making your grocery list, but didn't stop me from using their service for a year.
-After the first 2 deliveries,I stopped ordering fruits or veg from them though. They always sent me the crap stuff that didn't make it on the shelves at the store.

maybe the opposite of what you asked, but... i've used some of the grocery deliveries in hong kong before, and have had a lot of problems. mainly orders that have the absolute wrong items or just some items that don't come at all.
so for me, i would like to know directly the item i am ordering is going to the be the right one, otherwise it shouldn't be unavailable. none of this replacing for other similar stock shit.
also, they lack good images. it would be nice to see higher res images.

Hey thanks ephix - bad experiences also welcome in this thread!
