For a student project I'm researching on animated typography of spoken words...like dozens exist on youtube for every major filmscene (pulp fiction f.e.x)
while all those endless videos on youtube are rather stereotypical, I'm looking for sth. more out of the ordinary, with a more creative way of taking it...
I appreciate to get any kind of input!
PS: There was this ad, I believe for a car, where a whole city was made out of type (i.e. a car that says car, a bus that is formed out of the letters bus etc. etc...anyone remember?)

I love seeing great motion adaptations of type, from subtitles in movies (A Man on Fire, Stranger than Fiction) to commercials (Janus started it all, if I remember correctly). But, you're asking for something out of the ordinary and a more interesting take on it.
That task lies on you my friend. Show us your take, something original.
