great episode. i'd imagine that dinner table scene is going to be the beginning of a long and terrible end for him. even the showrunners have said they don't see a way he can live through the finale. fuck yeah.

I freaked out when I heard Ana Tijoux's track on the show, I thought my itunes launched magically and couldn't figure out how to turn it off till I paused the show

So, Gus is gay and had his partner killed by the cartel (the last words the guy could say to the cartel boss were 'yes, he's my partner'). They spared Gus life because "they know who he is", so I assume Gus was a big shot in Chile.
