wow whyte, that was quite a run. Congrats. How are you feeling today? I'm still down from my run on saturday.
Meeklo - what was your usual route? You might want to start out with 3 miles, but see how you feel, if it starts to hurt, turn around, Being injured sucks so bad.

I have a bad cold right now... so I wouldn't run right away...
but I'd be willing to start before June 1st. Seems like so far away from the present.

Meeklo! - Quick update. I've broke my hip - big ass fracture at the neck of the femur. That now has 3 4" nails in it (as they call them).
I'm a bowl skater and can only think that running helped crack open a previous injury.
I was up to 40 miles a month (great achievement from 0 miles a month). I felt a snag in my right thigh which was pretty painful but carried on and finished my 5 miles limping a bit. Rested 3 days and ran 4 miles when i had to stop - pain was too much.
I walked 2 weeks on a broken hip as 2 visits to the Docs resulted in me being told it was torn quad muscles. The pain felt like "bone" so drove myself to the Hospital and demanded an X-ray. Within a few hours i was hooked up on morphine and operated on soon after.
6 weeks off work to heal. Told i'd never run or skate again. We'll see.
