That's very convenient. Wish I could do that!

I used to commute 5 miles each way in Chicago, rode Lakeshore path from Hyde Park to the loop almost every day.... great unless the wind was 15 mph in your face! I could shower at a health club nextdoor to my gig that way too...

45 minutes each way every day. Wouldn't stop doing it either, I love it. Nice way to wake up in the morning.

I would bike to work if I didn't have to cross the Ohio river on a 6 lane bridge.

Here's my times to get to school
30 min average bike
15-20 min average car
ONE HOUR AND THIRTY MINUTES BY BUS. Cta, take it!

I do it every day. It'd be a 10min drive, then I'd have to pay to park and by the time I get into the office, it'd have taken 15 minutes. Bus takes about 15 mins. Biking, I can be there in 11min and feel a little more awake.

I do it every day too, usually when it rains too. I live on the LES in manhattan and bike 15-20 minutes to midtown east. It takes about 45 minutes on the subway. If you live in a large city. Biking is clearly the way to go.

I'm jealous. If I tried biking to work, it would probably take an hour and a half or so. Or more accurately, I'd go about 10 minutes before being hit by one of many oblivious drivers in my neck of the woods.

Yeah I do just over 5 miles and it takes me about 20 minutes (quicker than the train). Like other people have said it certainly wakes you up!!!!! Shame I have to travel on a really busy road full of buses, it's a wonder Im still alive!

The issue I have with biking for more than an hour (the length of time it would take me), is the frazzled appearance I would have at work. Would have to take a shower or change my clothes once I got there.
