Are pony runners a real brand? I actually thought they were just a shitty cheap own brand runner for a cheapo department store over here. Like the kind of runner a mother would get a kid when all his friends have nikes.
* runs off crying at thought of poor youth.

did i miss something - did u just say pony was a decent brand ?
to be fair, i could point out a number of websites that looked similar to this and prob used the same template only difference is that this designer didnt bother changing much.plus, isnt it supposed to be against the rules to resell the template so maybe it was done by inhouse ?
- It's not being resold. It's been bought and used for a site.duckofrubber

The client was probably cheap as fuck but wanted something cool, so the agency took a template and improved it. It happens quite a lot.

that's a pretty good template and they made it better. Still a lame site though.
But wrong with templates? People use them for blogs, it's the same if you want to put up some other generic forms of content, like catalogs.

ha ha, i saw the pony site a few weeks ago and was wondering how much they paid for it! I hope to be soon pitching to do a localized version of it for Pony here (China). This is possibly the most useful thread ever

Times are tough Dawg. The real question is why isn't Randy Moss wearing a shirt. I guess times must be really tough for him.

Why would a decent brand like Pony use a stock flash template for their main site? I just don't get how this happens. Did their interactive agency propose this solution as a quick fix or did they claim it as their own and designed around it? Does Pony even know (or care) that their site framework was $40?
