I've been watching this show mayday, pretty intense, in most cases, the cause is something totally small and insignificant like a bolt or a switch that one of the pilots forgot to activate, when you think of the millions of parts that make up a plane all it takes is for one of those to fail and disaster strikes.
- Seriously - that show is one of the main reasons for my fear of flying. Its not good for you..invo

Jesus, I love flying, as long as I'm not sitting near anyone horrible. I get kind of excited when we hit turbulence too, like a wild ride.
That aside, here's hoping that every last person on that simply is bobbing along safe and sound in a couple rafts and will be scooped up shortly.

Italian who missed fatal Air France flight dies in car crash
The FINANCIAL -- An Italian woman who arrived late for the Air France plane flight that crashed in the Atlantic last week, killing all 228 on board, has died in a car accident, Italy's ANSA news agency reported.
Johanna Ganthaler, a pensioner from the Bolzano-Bozen Province (South Tyrol), and her husband Kurt, were vacationing in Brazil and missed Air France flight 447 from Rio de Janeiro to Paris on June 1. The couple took a flight to Europe later that day.
The car veered off the road near Kufstein, Austria, killing Johanna.

A strange gaggle of passengers on that flight, including:
Two known radical muslim extremists deemed a "threat to France":

I don't know why, but this picture makes me uneasy for some reason. it has something to do with them just being in the middle of the ocean, far from anything, it's nearly 20,000 feet deep, and if someone drowned there they'd just never be found. They'd just slip away into the deep.
Sounds dumb, I know - I know there's a boat right beside them, but I just feel really eerie looking at it.
- it shows how small we really are.nicole_marie

It's just a trend. The same way people like to wear Ray-Bans because other people are wearing them.
Pilots basically decide to crash at that place because it's 'trendy' and 'cool' at the moment.

i just heard that the only one man who had evidence that osama bin laden was spotted in the brazilian rainforest with about a dozen of aliens looking to move earth through a timeloop was also on board of that plane.
Creepy!

Maybe the Bermuda Triangle has shifted due to climate change.
