Yeah, this happened to me. Call them and they'll fix it.
- Technically it should work on at least two machines before the notice pops up.monospaced
- Calling Adobe is not funcjara
- They were pretty helpful and quick when I had problems going from CS2-3formed

The license allows installation on a second computer that you use (for example work and home), so it's got to allow at least two activations at once...

I do already have it on another computer... I think I may try and get in touch with the guy I sold it to and ask if he can deactivate it.

Contact adobe support. A friedn of mine was having trouble with her computer, so did a clean install of the os, then the cs3 installer refused to work. So she rang adobe and they talked her through it. Had to do the same when she eventually upgraded to a new computer too. Seems like a great way to piss off your clients, judging from the hassle she had with hers.

If you have a legit copy, you simply phone the freephone number found under 'phone activation' when it prompts you to activate. You tell them the other machine's HD died and they will give you another activation, it is that simple. If you don't have a legit copy you are on your own.

I've got a solution for you! It will not fix the problem, but at least you will be able to use the Adobe software till you sort it out with the Adobe team.

Thats not the only correct form, just the one they want you to use.ribit - Not that they care what u call it, they must have a proof they tried to prevent the trademarks from dilution or risk losing themraf
- actually where they over-reach is asking people to use the full trademark when the name will do fine..ribit
