- Have the tyres scared the crap out of you yet?ShaneHolley
- Not yet... i'm still adjusting to the set up. i never really felt scared on a bike until now.. heavy and low, brakes are good but somehow it's no sportbikes LOLnecromation

What's with this cafe racer trend?
I'd like to have my old Vespa PK50 back. I had a slighty larger piston installed, bigger carb, greater brakes etc while keeping the original look. It was a beast of a Vespa and no one expected it to go like this.. almost 60mph downhill :D
pic for reference, this wasn‘t mine but this one is close..

So after that CB750 above that lasted me less than a week - i'm sure one of the rings was blown out and fucker seized up on me locking up the back wheel on a fucking hill. She when straight back and i got a full refund - must have known it was a lemon.
I've decide to take my 03 Monster M750i and give her to the great guys at Foundry Customs to give her a bit of a facelift and engine once over and transform into something similar to one of their earlier projects... A real town/twisty killer with a good bit of torque!
Can't fucking wait!
- NICE!moldero

- What's going on with that 51 pickup? ;)GM278
- Dang! you know you chevy years my man. What's going on right now is its storing 10 million pounds of plastic baby stuff. One day it will see the road againBonSeff
- with a big ol v8 power plant.BonSeff
- I'm building a 51 Chevy Bel Air 2 door hardtop 60's style sled. I'm probably equally obsessed with early 50's Chevys as I am bikes.GM278
- we should hang out. i'll be in hell's kitchen in a month for a few days and talk shop. my 51 was my dad's. its a completely stock farm truck. he liked to driveBonSeff
- it in parades with his vet buddies. the thing is a turd. straight 6 one barrel carb.BonSeff
- i am rebuilding this honda which i used to race and beat the hell out of it. gonna give it a proper rebuild and store it. its the last 250 2 stroke style theyBonSeff
- made. and it was hard as hell to ride the power but handles like an old caddyBonSeff
- I jumped ship from NYC and moved to ATX a few months ago. Don't crap on that straight 6. My Bel Air originally had that motor...can't kill em.GM278

- cafe man, cafe that bitchmoldero
- restore to originalBonSeff
- either restore it, or go the Vanilla Ice route >> http://pictures.tops…makeitnice
- Definitely not full cafe as lowered biked ride like crap on british roads. Hmm... Some photoshop planning will be done me think.ShaneHolley
- if you go the cafe route you'll have to grow a matching moustache too.microkorg
- Restore - it will still look great in ten yearsSlashPeckham
- had it over a year and only just got it running properly so in no rush. Only reason I'm thinking of modifying is to lighten it up. It's a bloody heavy bike.ShaneHolley
- No moustache thanksShaneHolley
- Restore to original!!!!!!nb
- Wait, backup...did you say "Definitely not full cafe as lowered biked ride like crap on British roads?!?!" Cafe racers are an inherently British creation.GM278
- Although I hear you, a true cafe with low bars and rearsets are very uncomfortable to ride if you're planning on buzzing around town or in congested areas.GM278
- They only work when you're opening it up on a twisty road.GM278
- Scrambler or street tracker styles give you the stripped down look and a bit more ridability.GM278
- Exactly mate. Cafe racers were for sprinting from one cafe to the next for bets. As for taking a Sunday riding for the day, they're back breakers.ShaneHolley
- But ask yourself...how tired is the bike? Can it be restored? How often do you seen one that's all complete and original?GM278
- 2 Werds: Ape Hangersprophetone
- I'd put it back to original if the frame and engine is still good enough to be a real classic bike one day :)mekk
- doing a little research on period customs to keep the early 70's vibe.ShaneHolley

Oh lawd, what have I done? scooped up 3 cr's on craigslist for $500.
Hopefully I can have these out of here by Christmas..
The '02 250 came with a title. Seized up motor and needs a carb.
'01 250 is a super clean chassis, needs wheels, handlebars, motor, carb, seat and electrical
'98 125 needs wheels and a motor, forgot how light that bike was.
- Turn one of them into a dirt tracker and come racing! I'm probably hitting the track in Waco in September.GM278
- I think my braap days are over! I need to sell these and turn my attention to that truck.BonSeff
- WOW... thats a fucking bargin!!!necromation
