Photo from yesterday's ride through Hill Country, TX
Added a full R&G slider kit, tank and frame protectors, engine covers, K&N air filter, anti-gravity battery, Motodynamic integrated LED tail light and a fresh pair of Michelin Pilot Road 2ct's. (which BTW are SUCH a better tire than the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsas)
- Yes bro.... Looking sweet, looks like a twisty
killer! I tried the Pliot's didn't like em... more my Panigale didn't like em, the grip wasn't there :(necromation - Weird I find they have more grip in the corners, also way more grip in rain. Were you running Pilot Power or Road?GM278
- Also I just added the quickshifter...man i love itGM278
- very nice! that headlight needs to go though. look at motodemic's stuff - https://motodemic.co…dorf
- @Dorf, I respectfully disagree. I'm all for the buggy looking lights - they look great with the angular bodyworkGM278

- you stunt?moldero
- @moldero Man, I wish I could ride like him. That's Ernie Vigil https://www.youtube.…GM278
- I prefer to keep both wheels on the ground on my sport bikeGM278
- I'm not a big fan of stunting, but that was a good vid, loved the intro especially, racing's where it's at ;)moldero
- God damn I miss that shitmoldero
- yeah man, we used to "squid hunt" not sure if it's a universal term, it's basically smoking these guys in the mountains or at the trackmoldero
- this guy looks pretty damn good though, I wouldn't be surprised if he raced toomoldero
- "Squid" is a pretty universal label. I limit my racing to the track, especially considering how ppl drive here.GM278

- Really nice looking bike and makes me happy seeing the Norton flag flying. I'm hoping Norton can get some good market penetration and come back like TriumphGM278
- my mates is on the listnecromation
- That's a nice list to be on. Triumph have lost their way. Putting fake cooling fins on water cooled bikes to look 'retro'. Just no.ShaneHolley
- The cooling fins are functional. I think you mean disguising fuel injectors as retro looking carburetorsGM278
- which is an elegant way of hiding something that otherwise would look out of place on the bikeGM278

- That Norton looks greatGM278
- More picts of your Monster!GM278
- I bet you can hear the Dominator coming a couple of miles away right?ShaneHolley

- i'm the one with Duc... see the pattern lolnecromation
- If you get the chance you should get out here to Austin, TX. The roads in hill country are SICK.GM278

Out of curiosity I looked a bit around what the big Japanese, English, German and Italian motorbike companies have to offer.
Gotta say I'm unimpressed. For Example, the Ducati Monster, especially the S4 model, around 2000 was my alltime favourite bike to look at stock. Man, what is this new thing? Or the Yamaha MT07.
Is there a decent modern bike out that is actually cool? I'm talking about a sporty bike in a classic look, naked. With street or supermoto architecture, maybe a bit cafe-racerish or in a scrambler look. Something cool, u know? Something that does not shout "ATGATT" at anyone.
With a few modifications the new BMW nineT could be a candidate:
Not looking into buying a bike, just wondering why new stock bikes look so ugly. :-)
- Look at the Husky Nuda 900r... Looks like it's a super moto from the future with a nice 900cc lump! 2011-12 productionnecromation
- sounds good, never heard of the nuda before :-)mekk
- Most of that new stuff just looks like something that has been done before. Because it has.
So why buy the new stuff? Because of a digital tachometer?Longcopylover - well with 6'3 the Ducati would be way out of range for memekk

- Bloody hard to find... was only in production for one year.necromation
- takes me back to when I was shopping for a street legal appriia 250 2-stroke in the states,
near impossibru (for me at the time anyway)moldero - a 2-stroke supermoto is actually quite the deal, most are 1 cylinder engines that rappel you to hellmekk

Pretty pleased with my new wheels.
