also related to environmental/landscape design. what objects do you think would do nicely abstracted as a silhouette/icon when you think of architecture / landscape design.

not sure i follow...like trees, shrubs, street signs, hills and such?
- janne760
yeah, sort of.. more like objects or shapes that could end up like a simple silhouette and still give you that a-ha feeling..

Hey Janne, some time ago I posted a link to a dutch maquette bureau in one of your posts. You wouldn't happen to have it bookmarked? I've lost one of my bookmark files where I had it. ty.

do whatever Nairn chooses, or at the very least... whatever it is I choose, just do the opposite of that. He is "The Man!" and of course he knows much better than I...

Did a logo for an arch studio once. I used their studio space and created an isometric rendering of their workspace, simplified to its basic form/proportions. looks nice and and it's "their space".

The use of computers has changed that part of the craft that had so many elements to inspire forms, designs and representations of architecture. Arch ateliers used to be crammed with nice pens, experiments, lots of maquettes, drawings, utensils - lots of stuff that they hardly use anymore. Helás.
