http://www.jojarth.com/ - it's for an academic who writes about energy markets; pretty serious but she wanted her site to be fun.
I would appreciate thoughts; should i add a 'home' so you can get back to the animation? See anything stupid here?
thanks

I think the underlines and the font choice should go away. Style with helvetica bold.

I would make the type bigger, and move it around until it looks better.

I'd lose the transparent boxes for the text. The line illustration is nice and graphic, keep the style and go white background for the text.
+1 for comments above too ^

Thanks for the suggestions.
I guess the underlines are kind of ugly, but I still like them for being really clear about what's a link and what isn't.
You're probably right about the transparency; plain white would be cleaner.

didn't this site used to have professionals or at the very least semi-professionals?

really quick critique:
i like the index page with the animations. it's simple, yet fun. it seems weird that there is no other information on there though...i feel like the site needs to be more integrated with the animation and within each section.definitely lose the underline on the links. definitely make her name link back to the home page.
