The 'Green' labels are selling. Like all the rest, the Machine took it and turned it into another gear to pump more cash.

even Shell try to sell us ads showing how good they are towards the Earth, with beautiful images, beautiful smiling people, trees, animals and shit... YOU ARE SELLING GAS FOR FUCK SAKES! G-A-Z ! The One problem of our time!

Let's not kid ourselves, our grandkids will never see any of these animals in person, they will only look at pictures.

I've waited for an appearance of whale wars, Im guessing someone else got tweeted by Praystation..
I say good luck to them, they don't like the other people killing whales, cause - you know, it's barbaric, and cruel and greedy, and they go out there to try to stop them doing it - end of.
Everyone's trying to extrapolate their actions into other aspects of environmentalism, and that's just bullshit right-wing-daytime-radio host tactics - enough already.
The whalers charge about killing whales and it really really fucking upsets a lot of people. People's who's governments came together to sign a treaty banning it, only the whalers have just ignored that and fucked off and done it anyway...well fuck you, you shits - go and do something else to put bread on the table, we all do - most of the time I find myself just wanting the protesters to all march up on deck with handguns and start shooting at the whaling ship.
I mean, stop fucking about will you ? With your bottles of stinky acid and your slippery stuff - don't be so fucking nice, shoot the fuckers, create an international incident, have the Japanese navy steam down there, stir some shit up if you really care about the whales - don't be bothered about being 'judged' by your other lefty friends, or in the paper, or being clucked at by some suit-faced shit on a tv program....get out there and have some balls - stop them whaling, fuck them up. Once word gets back to the whaling communities that you risk getting shot at doing this job there'll be noone left to do it - they will all, literally, go off and do something else - they won't risk their lives or freedoms for the sake of the whales, but you claim you will.
Man-up ! Shoot them in the fucking face.
Show it on tv.
Make people talk, and maybe even fucking think, about the sharp-edge of environmental philosophy.

8 years ago (I think) I signed up to support Sea Shepard. Because all the feedback I got of their actions was a half-year report I eventually gave up. If their actions would be as well documented then as they are now, I might still have been a 'member'.
Just a little background information; Paul Watson, the 'Captain' of the Sea Shepard was one of the founding members of Greenpeace. His "pro-active" mentality eventually got him expelled from Greenpeace. Greenpeace chose to go a more diplomatic route.
According to international law Japanese whaling is currently restricted to research hunts conducted by the Institute of Cetacean Research. Unfortunatly this all seems to be a facade for what actually happens on the boats. When the whales have been harpooned, they are dragged into the boat, cut up, frozen en boxed for shipment.
Furtherrmore, there have been occasions where Japanse whalers 'fished' the protected waters around Antartica. Unfortunatly Sea Sheperd seems to be the only organisation wich condems these actions and actually act on it.

sea shepherd seems a bit more hardcore than greenpeace. but it seems necessary.
i do not like the idea of violent protest/sabotage. but apparently, with whaling they are left without choice. also i couldn't get emotionally upset if i saw a baby seal hunter being clubbed in the face..
i am only human.
