It stands 9 foot 11 inches and is a pretty hefty typographic work in itself.
"Kryptos is a sculpture by American artist James Sanborn located on the grounds of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Langley, Virginia, USA. Since its dedication on November 3, 1990, there has been much speculation about the meaning of the encrypted messages it bears. It continues to provide a diversion for some employees of the CIA and other cryptanalysts attempting to decrypt the messages."
i read about this while working on da vinci code 2
awesome. it'd be great if there is absolutely no meaning nor cyphery involved. put up a puzzle that doesn't really exist–and therefore have no solution–in front of the best puzzle solvers in the world and watch some of them meltdown over a 40 year career.
I just figured it out!
