from like 200 px to like 8,000 px.
not too much detail, it's some technical debris.. what would be the best way to go?

Not happening man.
I would do some mega Photoshop filtering to make it look like it was on purpose.

hmmm... you know, i did a version before which was quite good after some serious shopping. yet, some blocks of pixels seem to large.. i wonder if it could make that more fuzzy/grainy while resizing.
like i said, the image is some technical debris from a chip, little color, just some rough details... must be scaled up for a poster.
can't get any bigger version unless i break in at the CIA or something.. :(

Sorry I was thinking it was a photo er something.
You may get away with opening it in Illustrator and using live trace.
- yeah was thinking that.. maybe do some different settings and see where i get from there, cheers.Coffeemaker
- yeah, if there's any artifacts clean up first and it live trace might work pretty solid. cheersdesignbot

8-10%increase increments until you get there for the best possible looking shit, might work if on a billboard on top of a building. technical? redraw it

what version3 said. small increments.
+ select bicubic smoother from the dropdown for a little soft blur to help hide the pixels.

a 200px original is not worth using with Genuine Fractals or other plugin.

you're a photographer - offer to re-shoot it

"the culprit is in custody"

actually, if you get a photographer to shoot it with large format digital camera you'd get a good result. timeframes might be the issue though.

the piece in question is nowhere to be found. like globally, on high levels and shit...
- ..what what what ??mikotondria3
