greatest show ever. picked up the complete box set last xmas for $50 on ebay. now they'll be a new season it's not quite the complete box as advertised. so many funny parts, i think i'll make a superhans "free the pedo" t-shirt.
check out their skit show also, awesomeness.

amazing show. they tried to replicate it for the us and it failed... although i never saw it. (i bet it was actually good if it failed in the us)

What's with the US replicating shows?
Surely without Mitchell and Webb it's a different show ... FFS.

no, they fucked it up in the US - they took out the character's inner dialogue and all the POV stuff - so it was basically 'The Odd Couple'.
It is one of the funniest programs I have ever seen - the real one I mean. Excited that they are starting production on another series finally.
- Didn't know they aired this in the states.Ruffian
- without POV its not even a serious attempt at doing same showribit
- exactly

according to wikipedia, the pilot failed so it never really got off the ground in the US.
American versions
In 2005, the Fox network commissioned a pilot for an American version of Peep Show (named 'Odd Couple'), however, the pilot was unsuccessful.[4] Jeremy was played by Josh Meyers, and Mark was played by Johnny Galecki.[4]. Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain have commented that the American version did not utilise the point-of-view filming like the original.
Spike TV has since commissioned its own version, originally to be written and directed by Robert Weide, who is the executive producer of Curb Your Enthusiasm.[4] However, it is currently being written by the original creators of the British version, Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain.[5]
