The players enter the field through a bar: Actually it's called the Miller Lite Club. After leaving the locker room, the players make their way to the field while surrounded by hundreds of screaming fans. There's nothing close to this around the league. Jones wants this to be an interactive experience -- and he's succeeded. But is it a good idea to give a bunch of fans beer bottles after the Cowboys have played a horrible first half? We'll see. Asked about entering the stadium through a bar, Australian punter Mat McBriar joked that he was "tempted" to stop for a drink.

Bradie James confronted former Tennessee Titans punter A.J. Trapasso before the game and asked him why he was trying to bang kicks off the scoreboard. "Because it's up there," responded Trapasso.

I can't even imagine what the apartments I lived in are going for now, but the funny thing is, I doubt they're that much more. I think the most we ever paid was maybe $700 - $750. I just looked it up and the 2 BR, 2 bathroom are now $760 a month. The one we were in was about 1,000 square feet or so. Geez, it would be worth renting one for that, not live there at all, and renting it out for a game day weekend for twice that for a weekend to out-of-towners
They're poorly managed, and definitely old by now. It was great at the time, definitely different than Chicago apartments that's for sure.

That thing is multiple times as big as your some of your homes.

It's in my hometown. Jerry Jones says we're going to use that as an advantage since It's higher then what the regulation allows. U2/Muse are performing their next month... U2 is paying $6m to get that screen raised 20ft because of their intricate stage design. Insanity!

That is so awesome.

there should be a hot spot on there. so when the ball hits it, about 50 footballs fall off the bottom.

I think it'll make it interesting. They already have certain rules for when you hit it. Kickers will be aiming for it and blowing shit up. Fire works yo.

Looks like that big screen is going to fall on the players.

Another thing to point out. You'd think with the Ballpark in Arlington (Texas Rangers) and a nice park area around there, and now this new stadium less than a half a mile down the street, the area around that section of Arlington would be improved. But no, it probably still sucks around there.
I'm going to be home in that area in a few weeks and I think we're going to take a tour of the stadium. I'm really eager to see how things have changed around there, or if it's still just a wasteland of cheap corporate restaurants, dollar stores, auto body shops and horrible traffic.
- I'd assume the latter, but I've never been down there. Let me know how that pans out.Point5
- I think the plan is for "Jerry World" to be built, which is essentially a new urban development like a West Village or Addison Circle.MondoMorphic

I'm hoping to make it out there this year for a game...maybe against the Chargers in December.
- All that way to see the cowboys lose? Seems kind of a waste :)voiceof
