Some new eReader that's supposed to hit the market in december...I've been considering it since I buy a book from them at least once a month. 259 is pretty pricey though, but they are saying you'll have access to download books through a free att 3g network or wireless connection. After hearing the scandal about Amazon's "Kindle", does this look better?

I think so! I kinda want one but I like having the physical book to much.
- yea, that's my deal, I love book cover designs, it's a tough split for mesteven_segal

Might want to wait a while longer. I have a couple friends at huge media companies that handle hundreds of magazine titles (amongst other media) that are about to roll more of these things out. They're cutting big content exclusivity deals with the "e-reader" manufacturers and brands. My guess is that this is their solution for salvaging print, and we'll see the market flooded with these things in the next year.

I think eReader will take off when companies bring to market Epaper. Roll the thing up in a littel tube, put in pocket.

i might read more if there were an app that would animate every word to me and i could adjust the speed/tempo. set it to run, sit back, read and imagine. likely more comfortable than the traditional neck bent down, holding something of assorted sizes

I'm curious to see their brand name "nook" will have a negative marketing effect.
