Why refurb?

refurbished = people brought that into the bathroom

does the offer include re-furbished Apple Care as well?

I've got one, works like a charm. And of course it's been anti-bacterialized for good measure. Why pay full price...

i got one too. perfect and so cheap. so worth it and if you get one that's fucked up you can return it within 30days.

mine is a refurb; saved a hundred bucks, would do again
also, i'm pretty sure they replace the phone's shell when refurbishing it so worrying about bathroom time is pretty moot
(even though you didn't complain about germs when you were looking at your big brother's porn stash as a kid)

Ok. Thanks all.

mine is too, and just so you know, it doesn't necessarily mean its been used. and even if it was, refurbished means it's up to the same standards as the brand new phone (put together by low wage workers that share a tiny room to live in and a single toilet with no rim on, in case you were wondering about germs).
refubished means is elegible for apple care btw

Whatever you do dont get the 3G, spend the extra $ and get the 3GS. Why would you want to get stuck with a 2 year contract on 1.5 year old technology? By the time your contract is up the 3G will be almost 4 years old...
- if you are going to be on att reception is the same, so this statement doesn't really apply for the u.s.Meeklo
- aka, get ready to drop calls like a muthaMeeklo
- Not the point, 3GS is much faster...CPU wise...ArmandoEstrada

mine and my wife's are both refurbs. in fact, my new mbp is also a refurb. full-price is bullshit.
refurbs (in my experience) have been more reliable. bugs are pre-worked out. and same warranty as the new.

Ok. Its that time again. I'm eligible for an upgrade. Whats the best phone out there? Talk me out of getting an Apple iPhone 4 - 8 GB - Black (Refurb) for $49.00.
