I re-tooled my site.
Please take a look and let me know what you think.
Btw the death shovel link does not work... in progress.

I guess a link would be great...

Does it have to be so wide?
- Knuckleberry0
^
you mean girthy?- The nav seems like it should be 1/2 the width. I get horizontal scroll on a 17" MBPismith
- I am on a 24" here but it fits my 19" well. My 30" at work makes it look tiny.Knuckleberry
- It would be scary on a 13" MacBook, but I think it definitely should be scaled down.ismith
- You could always make it fluid so it fits your enormous monitors better :)ismith
- i guess everything's gonna look small on a 30'jimzyk

what is the difference between 'work' and 'freelance' ?
- the 404 link you are getting is listed in my original phrase.Knuckleberry

I have always heard from employers as well as colleagues that established work experience is better than freelance work experience. I wanted to divide the two to show differing styles between the two.I hope that makes sense.
- IMO, it's better to not delineate. Just let the work speak for itself.luckyorphan

The girth does not bother me, but Courier does.

would be better having the nav/numbers to skip through the folio pieces above the image rather than below.
- bugger me i didn't even see those!! had to scroll!!!Projectile

courier can work nicely (http://www.universaleverything... but it doesn't here for some reason...

i, personally, am not a fan of the whole 1992 old skool html look. I know it's the in thing at the mo, but you could do something that shows your ability to create a great, professional looking site. Just my personal opinion. proobably the reason I earn fuckall, but my opinion nonetheless.
I'd also leave the valley arena and vultures united out of it.

I think its a tad wide too. If the content was requiring the site to be that size, then that would be ok. But I don't think your left nav bar really needs to be that wide. just seems a bit out of place.
Just looking at your krop page, your work looks much better on that than it does on your current site. I don't think the site is helping show your work off in the best way possible. (sorry if this sounds negative)

Simple, to the point, but again too wide..
The left sidebar should be max 200px

http://www.knuckleberrydesign.co… broken link

let me say this.
start. over.
let me say this too.
how long should you try? until.
also, i'll ask this.

i dont think the aesthetic of the website matches the aesthetic of your work...

Usability-wise the site is annoying. Having 2 scrollbars and having to side scroll each time unnecessarily on large monitors is not good.
- baseline_shift0
too big. im all scrollin around and cant find shit
- cyan isnt really workin for me eitherbaseline_shift
- Are you working on a netbook!!! lol.fyoucher1
- nope, im on a 23" monitor. but i dont have my browser windows full screen lolbaseline_shift

yeahhhhhhhhhhh

I dig it. I don't mind it being wide but I'm sure that bugs some folks. Maybe just make that first column about half the size, you don't need it that wide anyway. You should make a logo of your fist squishing some berries. Man, it must have sucked to have to write your full name in 1st grade.

come on, no roll overs. that's just lazy.
