Y'all playing RDR2, I'm enjoying FarCry 5 at the moment.
- After 2 days I returned that game (when I had an xbox).Maaku
- if it weren't for the "gitgud" kidnappings in the north, I think this is a solid fucking game.jaylarson
- It was super fun in the way that FarCry is, but the story left a lot on the table for me, and the gameplay got pretty repetitive, worse so than past versions...ben_
- for some reason. Feels like games are evolving so fast and this just felt like more of the same.ben_

Good review of RDR2. Just why isn't it available for PC yet :(
- Yeah, it's bullshit. I'm really tempted to buy a console for this, but my PC is leaps and bounds better than any console.section_014

Another RDR2 review. This game really deserves the hype. But yes no PC version available sucks.
- The amount of work that went into this is insane. Never seen such detail and vastness.NBQ00
- Even horses testicles shrink in cold weather. Imagine all the detail in the next 10-20+ years in video games that's coming.NBQ00
- Apparently, the end game credits are over 30 mins long. That's how many people worked on this masterpiece.Milan

It's kinda overwhelming how immersive, real and entertaining games are becoming. RDR2 is such an example where graphics & gameplay AI are incredibly detailed and in next years getting more complex.
Makes me wonder if we will just be hooked and addicted to explore video games environments instead of living in real life.

My jaw is on the floor. I'm just in awe of this game.
Sorry to post so much about RDR2 but if you know anything about game design, game level and story development you know how much work goes into this.
The sheer level of detail is just unreal.
- Currently trying for the Rose Bay Arabian—I'm about 20 reboots in—I will get it.jaylarson

I have to agree with NBQ00. This is like nothing else before it. I don’t have the time to really invest the hours, days, weeks, months into gaming but I’ve literally just spent the good part of Sunday playing this. The level of consistent quality is outstanding, the story telling is amazing. No spoilers but the drunk reverend mission near the beginning

Earlier I accidentally ran over a dog on my horse in valentine and it lay there dieing, whining, I felt really bad. That dog knew me well and was running over to welcome me back....I got chased out of town for animal cruelty! $10.00 bounty
- I was like WTF oh RDR2cannonball1978
- haha c1978 - I did the same last night! I had this tab open, left pc, came back to it and read this thinking this was 'blog' - actually WTF?'d to my partner :)Nairn

I've been playing it all weekend (RDR2). I'm really trying to avoid the main story and just explore and pick up a few side quests here and there.
One of them involved me confronting a gunslinger up in the mountains. I left early in the morning and because of heavy rain it took all day (in game time) negotiating the steep terrain to get to the destination and complete that part of the side quest. So, I camped out for the night to head back in the morning. The next day was pure blue skies as a backdrop to the majestic snowy mountains. I was so blown away by the realism I stopped every 15 feet for a screenshot. This was probably the most real a game has ever felt. The water effects of lakes, rivers, and streams are so compelling as are the sounds of nature and wild life. At times it's as though your mind can smell everything you interact with in the game - from your leather saddle and horse's mane, to the brisk air, cedar, and pine. Crazy.

I know you're all busy with rdr2 but here is Hitman 2 :-)
- Yeah boy.section_014
- Hope you are enjoying it man, been quite the release :)Nutter
- Currently average 84/100 on opencritic, while not quite a RDR2 score, I think its a decent score: https://opencritic.c…Nutter

Once you get past all the annoying micromanagement stuff and the slow ass controls, the game is very awesome. Im kind of at a point now in chapter 3 where it feels like the story has ground to a halt and im basically just doing random missions that dont seem to have anything to do with anything. Bummer, I hope it picks up again soon.
The game is a lot different than RDR1. That game was just GTA in the old west. This game is definitely trying to be much more of a simulator. I can see how it would turn people off, but if you stick with it, it will suck you in. So, so well made. You can really see where that 7 years dev time went.
- ugh no PC version.pango
- Looks like there may be one eventually..
https://www.pcgamer.…Nairn - dude why not take a trip upstate and ride a real horse with all that time you are wasting?********
- Why not both?pango
- if only we had the time..winters almost here********
- slow ass controls seem to be a thing of this console generation, nearly all games suffer from this, esp. the ps4 exclusivesmekk
- it's insanely well made and an amazing game. quite the phenomena how good things are in gaming, yet everyone still finds shit to complain about.inteliboy
- ^ I'm not complaining, I just noticed that the system sellers of this gen are built around the technical capabilities of this gen. With all its pros and consmekk
- Yeah, I'm only a couple hours into it (just got to c2), my only complaint is the clunky controls. I've always felt that way about R* though... it's a theme.ben_
- GTA V on PC feels snappy and directmekk
- it could just be a ps4 thing, I'm not a pc gamer.ben_
- games on ps4 and xbox are built around a lower framerate, resulting in a slower paced game and more input lag. spongy controls cover that a littlemekk
