"Industrial design is a combination of applied art and applied science, whereby the aesthetics and usability of mass-produced products may be improved for marketability and production. The role of an industrial designer is to create and execute design solutions towards problems of form, usability, user ergonomics, engineering, marketing, brand development and sales"

Popovich:
Please expand on your question/thought. How do you define 'everything' designers? You'll most likely get more of a response.

i thnk he/she actually means those designers that are specialists in one area (e.g. automotive design) but work in other areas - e.g. Porsche designing kettles and toasters for Siemens.
not the best example but John Rocha is mainly fashion but has designed glasswear...
- Tom Ford has also similarly started in fashion, dabbled in architecture, and now made a critically acclaimed film.waterhouse

So you're on about industrial designers that to more than one product? ..like graphic designers who do a bit of animation.. a bit of web.. a bit of concept work, some art direction.. rite? Are there even any industrial designers that only do one thing?
