Yesterday:
Hamburger with sauteed onions, mushrooms, and fried onion rings. A1 sauce added carefully throughout the cooking of the beef. It was good.

i just made this for two adults and three kids:
Cabernet Burgers:
1.5 lbs 90% lean ground beef
1 cup cabernet sauvignon (two buck chuck works)
tablespoon smoked paprika
ten slices deli muenster cheese
5 kaiser buns
some buttermix beef, wine, paprika. form into patties. pan-fry on medium heat for three minutes, then flip patties, add two slices muenster on top of each patty, and cook for another 2 minutes.
meanwhile, grease another pan or two with butter, and toast the insides of the buns.
combine and serve with whatever condiments/vegetables you like. it was pretty good.

Spicy Garlic Chicken and Kale Fettucini
Cut two chicken breasts into small pieces
Soak in sake for 1 hourIn the meantime, in 1/2 cup olive oil, saute lots of chopped garlic (2 cloves), with 1 tablespoon of chili-pepper flakes in a wok. Saute until garlic is golden brown (do not burn garlic). Note: the longer you saute, the spicier/hotter the dish becomes (because chili flakes in oil become "chili oil").
Then, add Chicken with a bit of sake and cook (in the wok) on high heat, stirring often (Just before you begin cooking your chicken, add your Fettucini to boiling water).
As chicken is cooking (about midway), add two tablespoons of salted butter, four tablespoons of soy sauce and 1/2 cup largely chopped kale to the wok. Continue cooking until done (chicken is cooked through and kale has softened).
Strain your pasta and return to the wok. Mix your pasta in the wok until all of the pasta is coated with your oil/garlic/chicken base. Sprinkle with finely fresh chopped parsley, ground pepper and shredded parmesan cheese. Stir lightly and serve.
Enjoy!
