What are your favorite or most loved movies about or depicting photographers?
I am doing some research to find the old styles of shooting, and I want to watch some films about photographers of different ages...
Here are a few that come to mind:
- chossy0
Manhunter.
One hour photo.
- Mimio0
Fire in the East: A Portrait of Robert Frank

Triage.
The Killing Fields.
Full Metal Jacket.
The Road To Perdition.

There was a movie released last year set in the 1800's i believe. About a wife who befriended an older man who owns a photolab or something and he taught her and gave her a camera and she was good at it..anyone know what I'm talking about or am I hallucinating?

you should watch this if you want to learn about different styles and methods:

just ignore Rankin though... In my opinion he acts like a fool when using equipment that is easily superior to his preferred digital camera's... (if I remember correctly)
