What is the best place to buy Music Gear in the UK. I don't mind if it's online...
All the big ones seem to have closed down in Tottenham Court Road. Kind of depressing if you want to buy a guitar.
You have to shop online and then wait for a week to get your stuff and without the chance to even try it.This is all the internet's fault. Actually, I think that retarded Apple iPad device might have something to do with this as well.
Are you supposed to play guitar on it as well?Anyways... any good links?
I found www.thomann.de very good in the past, but they are in Germany and it takes a week for an item to arrive in the UK.

http://www.htfr.comAll of which are well established stores that have been around for years and you'll get good service from them and good delivery times (assuming what you order is in stock).

Its a new store that I think rose from the flames of the now dead "Sound Control" stores that were across the UK.

ebay? really?
I sold my MicroKorg on ebay, it was about 2 years old and someone paid me £10 less than they couldve bought one for new with warranty.
I also sold my 303 Groovebox for £140 which, considering it was about 8 years old was a fair price to pay.
I think youve got to be really lucky these days to get a bargain on ebay.
