I flew in AA before, and felt it was too cramped. I'm afraid to fly, but i'm hoping it would be easier to cope if I had more space. First class is a possibility but the price is Very hefty. Which airline gives the most space / leg room without cramming 300 people on a single plane?

Jetblue, pay the $40 for extra legroom. The standard seats are roomie too....

depending on where you're flying and if seat pitch is all you're after:

airtran may be a solution,
very relaxed, none of that AA bullshit
first class is the same price for coach on delta and AAAirtran is much more laid back and comfortable than AA and delta

SouthWest, they kick all the fatties off the plane so you'll have plenty of room.

I love Virgin America for domestic US flights.

British Airways. Only people with clipped upper class english accents will ever make me feel safe on a plane. English is the language of the air after all.

Alaska has a decent amount of space.

I like Frontier personally... they've been great and I feel like their seats are larger

/\ I'll be flying in that in 3 weeks :)
I'm flying Sydney - LA. I then need a flight from LA to Vegas. Whats a good Airline?

AA first class is out of control awesomeness! I only flew from LA to Miami, but boy was I happy. Silver service, 5 course meal, endless wine, a huge chair that turned into a bed and 17inch widescreen TV with Bose headphones. The fight attendants were almost too attentive and friendly. AA economy was the very worst experience of my life. I agree that Virgin America is the way to go.
