I could use some help from anyone who is familiar with quicktime pro.
I am loading image sequences and then exporting them out as .mov using the H.264 codec. for some reason the color gets all washed out after exporting.
It doesnt matter what color profile is associated with the images, it still does it.
any ideas? thanks.

You're probably exporting as CMYK. Happens all the time, don't worry.

quicktime pro always does a shitty job compressing. Use an other software to change format..

apparently its simple as QT displaying the color improperly.
Once i open the files in any other program is displays correctly.
in short, quicktime sucks.

H.264 will do that, pain in the ass really
Go to a forum like Mograph.net and try a search. Post again if you find a solution, I'd be interested to see if there was anything new.

That's a known issue with gamma shift. Here's 2 resources.
