South America has called this final of FIFA’s Libertadores de America “the world final”. I think it’s pretty fair, since it’s the most popular, and maybe the most important South American “clasico” match between two of it’s biggest clubs: Boca Juniors and River Plate. First match was a tight 2-2 in La Bombonera, Boca Junior’s stadium. Today’s winner will make a party in “The Monumental”, River Plates’ stadium.
It’s been 40 years since these titans face each other in a Libertadores de America Final. For many South Americans, this match is waaay bigger than a world cup final.

After 3 hours, Boca vs River suspended cause some Boca Juniors players got some tear gas in a confusing situation where the bus transporting the layers had to get some tear gas to enter River Plate’s stadium???
Argentinan FoxSports is going crazy while +60.000 fans are returning home. The match will be played tomorrow.
Was it too hard to be aware of A BUS FULL OF PLAYERS entering a rival stadium??

For british qbnr’s, Boca vs River is a North-West Derby, and Libertadores de America is the UEFA cup. Just imagine Manchster United playing a final against Liverpool, and the match is fucking cancelled 2 hs after the supposed start.
Although the stadium was full of River Plate fans only, it’s already hell at the stadium’s exit.

Great duel between 2 of the favorites playing the America Cup in Brazil: Chile and Uruguay. The match not only defined the winner of the first key, but the team that will face Peru, not a very dangerous team, instead of Colombia, also another fave. Proud to be Uruguayan rn. Soy Celeste!
