What other companies are doing good artwork? Seems like it's mostly kid shit, ugly, appealing to teenagers.
I've always liked Toy Machine, at least the hand-drawn Templeton stuff.

Justin passed away this weekend in Toronto - often our tour guide when our crew would come up to the city to skate back in the early 90's.

Hey have any of you ever tried to paint or draw your own design on a skateboard? All the tutorials I've found are shitty spray paint methods. I want to take some fine brushes and paint something simple on a blank, or maybe some kind of ink would be better?
We're all artists, right? Why not design our own boards?
Also, where do you get the cheapest (but still good) blanks in NYC?
- 2 yrs ago my boy was 7, i took a spare deck, sanded primed painted white, him and i spent an aftrnoon sharpie'ing and paintingprophetone
