Debate time:
Who has the best 360 flip? And don't say Dixon because that's the obvious answer.
- Dixoffcapn_ron
- Travis Stenger, Jake Johnson, Janoskiben_
- Me? lol. First time I land a tre-flip, it was with both feet right in the middle. Snapped my new deck hours after I got it. Worth it though.section_014
- Jason Lee @ BlaisdellSquiddy
- Jason Lee, Jovante Turner, Josh Kalis and Daewon Song.instrmntl
- In hindsight, Lee is the obvious answer. I guess I should have specified "Best non-Scientologist tre.garbage

Ive been teaching myself how to longboard the past month or so, Im really enjoying it and finding its helping me get off my ass at least every other day but usually every day or so to check out spots in the neighbourhood and beyond that i can push to find a nice gradual spot to ride down. I feel like i really shit the bed not trying it a looooooooot sooner cuz i really dig it but man it hurts my 37 year old deskbound non-muscles. :D

My 5 year old son recently got a little street cruiser made by Gold Coast. I've taken some rides on it for the first time in a LONG time. It felt great and now I want to get a board for myself. I'm just looking to push around on flat land with my boys, no tricks.
Down to these two boards, can I get some thoughts on if either of them is better/worse than the other? Thanks in advance for any help.https://smile.amazon.com/Gold-Co…

- If you are taking a trip down nostalgia lane why not get a reissue board? Have some fun putting together a custom board...microkorg
- Grab a Powell / Santa Cruz / Vision with some big ol soft wheels like Santa Cruz Slime Balls. Go all out with ribs too :)microkorg
- +1 @microkorg and let your kid pick the board design: santacruzskateboards...uan

Noob Question - So I got this cruiser and it came complete with these trucks, but no riser pads. It's been a damn long time since I paid attention to hardware. Is no riser pads a thing now? Or did I get a bum deal? The board seems to ride fine fwiw.
- If it rides fine, you're comfortable, and there's no wheelbite then you are totally good.nocomply
- If you have the trucks adjusted to where your carve/turns are comfortable and you don't get any wheelbite on the deck I'd say you're good.jonny_quest_lives
- Riser pads would extend the life of the board as they take the pressure off the wood where the trucks would usually be resting directly against the deck.jonny_quest_lives
- apologies to nocomply... didn't read his comment.jonny_quest_lives
- Yeah you might get more pressure cracks in the deck without risers, but I've never seen one of those cracks actually lead to a snapped board in all my life.nocomply
- Or maybe it's just that I hardly ever snap boards.nocomply
