think by far the most impressive thing displayed there was the last example. Creating content! thats immense.
He didn't use the correct tool in the first example either, he used spot healing when he should have used the patch tool and positioned it manually, but his new application is much quicker than the patch tool anyway.
Thats mental. Kinda annoys me how easy it is, almost no talent in retouching now! :P

hmmm back to the video... if you really want to save time and productivity, you convince the client that the logo and copy looks better on the bottom right corner over the grass. Voilá.
Next!

Ok, here's what we all need to do; never mention this to anyone, client, boss, your mum, not anyone I tell you. Then when you get that pain in the arse image that needs shit loads of retouching work, simply rub your chin, breath in slowly through your teeth and just say "Yeah, I can do it, but it'll take a while and I'll have to charge accordingly." Then whip out Content Aware Phil, sit in your pants with beer in hand and relax. Magic!

Not Bad at all, like it.

It's a demo video, everything will work great and easy in order to sell...
And yes, it'll make more people think they are designers, but I'm sure they would still manage to make stuff look like shit...

Pretty impressive, technically.

As advanced as Photoshop gets, it won't eliminate the need for good retouchers. It's definitely going to eliminate the easy-peesy jobs tho. This guys choice of words are quite humorous too. "just look at the progress bar RACE across the screen." and "it would take us forever and ever to remove that tree". I'm definitely looking forward to this, and that last example of building out the panoramic was lovely, but the examples before that weren't mind blowing. Perhaps the healing brush wouldn't be the exact approach to do certain things that fast, but there are different yet equally quick and efficient approaches to solve those issues. I can't help but wonder if they've just offered us just another fast way to solve problems that weren't ever really that severe. I need to see more, and actually use it in my day to day. I welcome it tho.

Good thing there is no plug-in for "game changing idea".
