Free Williamsburg has a lot of good info on bars and restaurants in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
http://freewilliamsburg.comAnd some more general Williamsburg info:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wil…Clinton Hill, Prospect Park, Greenpoint, DUMBO, etc etc. Lots of great neighborhoods and little spots. And if you're looking for something really truly wonderful but off the beaten path get brunch at Northeast Kingdom: http://north-eastkingdom.com

Stroll up 5th, 6th, 7th Ave in Park Slope all the way to Prospect Park (they have a nice botanical garden there too).
Brooklyn Museum, pending on what they are showing at the time.
Hit a gallery or bar in Dumbo along the river.
See a movie at BAM in Ft. Greene.
Stroll down Smith St. in Boreum/Cobble Hill
Walk the promenade in Bklyn Hts.
Wander around Bedford St. toward Grand in Williamsburg. Maybe hit the free sunday concert along the river at N.6th.
Cut through McCarren Park to get some Polish food or a Donut along Manhattan Ave. in Greenpoint.Have fun!

The entire economy of parts of gentrified Brooklyn depends on people not knowing how much groceries should cost

Wife and I are spending Memorial Day weekend in Brooklyn, and really looking forward to a weekend away from our kids! We're staying in Manhattan on Thursday night for her last day at a conference, then headed to a hotel in Williamsburg Friday - Monday.
Would love some pro tips on restaurants we shouldn't miss, and things we should do. We've got a couple friends there in Bushwick.
As far as museums go, hoping to go to Moma one day, and I want to swing by the International Center of Photography - https://www.icp.org/facilities/m…. Will probably try to see the Freedom Towers; I have only been to NYC in 2001 for Flash Forward, and that was before the WTC came down.
Otherwise, just looking to hang out and explore Brooklyn, find some good record stores, eat good food, and take a ton of photos.
Thanks for your suggestions.
- Check out the Museum of Sex while you in Manhattan, walk around Williamsburg, go to the water, see graffiti in Bushwick, so much fun...robotron3k
- How's that compare to the Sex Museum in Paris and the Penis Museum in Iceland? We've been to both. ;)mg33
- Sounds like my recco is right up your alley, I think you best visit to complete your bucket list...robotron3k

Dumbo is pretty swank for a place called Dumbo but better to party in Williamsburg me thinks.
