Anybody know if its possible to print something in an ink that is light reactive or light sensitive, whereby it reacts a little like a photographic negative?
What I'm trying to achieve is the effect of something being invisible, but 'developing' when you remove it from the envelope and hold it in the light, so that the details become visible?

Lemon juice? Glow in the dark ink? I suppose that's not really what you're asking about. Hmmm... If I come across something I'll let you know. Sounds pretty cool.

i did a book for the movie "9" that had areas where if you used a black light you could see messages and art invisible under normal light.
they would glow yellow-green.
just ask for "security ink"

have white ink printed on gloss white paper stock.

I may not be reading this correctly, but I think regular ink - when held in the light - will 'become' visible.

http://www.veer.com/ had a postcard marketing their "green" endeavors surrounding invisible ink which was printed on recycled cardstock. When held in the sunlight the invisible ink darkened and became visible. The "special ink" exists, however, I do not know what the process is called or the name of the ink. Contact Veer and ask about a postcard sent they sent with sunlight-activated ink.
