Scriptographer is a scripting plugin for Adobe Illustrator. It gives the user the ability to extend Illustrator’s functionality through the use of JavaScript.

I'm really getting into this now. They recently posted a new version and it supports CS5 all the way down to CS1. The tutorials are simple and the package comes with some sample tools. Is anyone else using this? (Perhaps you same lot who replied to my Processing JS post? (http://qbn.com/topics/632755/) Nudge, nudge.) Anyway, I recommend it. It's free. And it's nicely designed.

I've used it before, but I've not created my own scripts.
It's got some bloody good stuff there. I've often created something to imitate a style and spent countless hours on it, then found that it can be achieved with a few clicks on someones scriptographer code...
BLOODY GOOD!
