Pretty bizarre theory but so is that fact that bee populations are dying off at massive rates for no known reason.

ok, let's say it's true.
so what?
everyone here stop using your cellphones right now. oh, you won't? ok, just stop until the cellphone companies deploy new technology that doesn't kill the bees. Oh, you won't do that either? ahh right. you'd prefer to make some noise but not actually do anything about it except maybe blame the technology. or the cell phone manufacturers. or the phone networks. just not yourself using it. maybe we can string up some tin cans and fishing line? probably coathanger a few bees though.
so, i go back to my original comment which was based on this whole chain of thought in the first pace.
fuck 'em.

on the plus side, we all know the cancer that will kill us. brain cancer from the phones. so you know what medical cover to get asap. the cool thing is that when we come back as zombies we'll be able to communicate through thought alone. it works that way.

"ok, let's say it's true.
so what?"Cell phones are only one factor in killing off bees (others are pesticides, land use and night lights in cities)
but if bees die off crops don't get pollinated. There have been studies estimating the economic impact of bees and the issues with them dying off are being taken very seriously by governments
"The value of the bees' services were estimated at £200m a year. The retail value of what they pollinate was valued closer to £1bn."
- my 'so what' was more aimed at the apathetic nature of us all. we learn facts and do fuckall.airey

Sar rating for my phone is ...
0.752 W/Kg@10g (CE head)
1.12 W/Kg@10g (CE body)... apparently 1.6 W/Kg is the limit.
I bet in 50 years time, people will look back on us, like we look back at Marie Curie ... totally unaware of the dangers involved.

people were doing stuff that seems super stupid now. some things that we are doing right now will be super stupid in the future.... maybe we will say "do you remember, people were using cell phones with microwaves at that time!" .. "oh yeah! that was pretty stupid!"

see, i love it. we all learn facts. possibly irrefutable facts and then collectively do fuckall.
the absolute worst are the bunch of cunts that make comments like "and it is this sad and moronic view that most of the planet share that will eventually lead to the destruction of our habitat" yet do the people that list the facts and waggle their finger have phones? shit, they probably tweeted, facebooked, myspaced and linkedin the facts via their blackberryiphoneandroid.
so i ask, why raise the points and do nothing. the thought process 'being aware' only means anything if it leads to action, or anything. being aware and doing nothing to change the problem makes you worse than some douchebag that says selfish, thoughtless comments like mine above seriously. stiil, at least their honest fuckwits, not self delusional fuckwits. with blogs about it probably. the cunts.
bees, eh. shit neighbours.
- well regardless of wether I'm doing anything about it or not, my comment is still true...set
- ukit0
well, in this case it's far from irrefutable...there have been many studies that suggest there may be a link between cell phones and brain cancer but nothing definitive.
what is weird is that bees are seemingly dying out in mass numbers. I think they said there were something like 30% less bee hives this year than last year.

anyone catch the doco playing lately about the trend in ny to keep bees? i missed it but saw a long advert for it. is it true? cause the irony will be that in 2 years ny will be deserted from 'the swarm of 2012™'. like some yellow and black low-rent version of a will smith film.
