I've worked with some great developers in India....
but seriously, murphy's law takes over sometimes... especially at the last minute.... we used to have a "no changes for x days before launch no matter what" rule.... and lie to ourselves about it being 4 days ahead of time.... but even that didn't work once... last minute tweeks killed us

Find someone to blame?

Applying untested updates the night before a launch? Running new scripts (written in a hurry) against a production database?
Hope it works out for you, but it'll be more than you deserve.

^ i know. unfortunately it wasn't my choice. or my way of doing things.
but you gotta do, what you gotta do...

Don't work with cheap developers in India ever.
Sounds shit, good luck!

fugged, good luck. I hope you get that shit sorted, hope it works out for you. And I hope your bosses realise how much effort you put into it.
Have some coffee, a cigarette if thats your thing, and pull this shitstorm back from the brink.

You. Are. Fugged.

when i took this job and learned they were outsourcing some of the development overseas i cringed. I've done this drill before, and it never works out well. You end up having to rewrite pretty much everything they do.

you are saying you are not happy with variables in sanskrit/punjab?
i've been there a few times (deadlines and indian devs). i remember finishing an e-learning application for samsung just 10 mins before the people would have been getting to their training centre...
a lot of weird things start happening at 4am when is the second day without sleeping. a piece of advice: do it only if you are working for yourself, and not too often. and charge shitloads.
- it's startup. i've got stake in it, so I'm pretty motivated to make it happen best i canfugged
