Is there a way to resize images in InDesign, without having to resize the bounding box, and THEN the actual image? This is getting tiresome!!!

The Autofit checkbox. By Jobe, I'm a genius!

On a Mac, hold down Command, or use the Resize tool (E)

- Nice tip too but seeing as everything needs to be the same aspect ratio and I'll be changing stuff up a lot, Autofit seems to do the job :)kalkal

use the direct selection tool (the white arrow) to select the image first, than you can switch to free transform tool and do your resizing. If you are using the selection (black) arrow you are selecting the frame altogether.
- That's what's getting tiresome for him. Free Transform (E) or hold down Command while resizing is the solution.monospaced

I haven't done a lot of work in Indesign recently, but I believe you should be able to find an efficient way of accomplishing this. Maybe setting up an object-style for your boxes, or some sort of action or script.

if you hold CMD, ALT + SHIFT while resizing, you will constrain proportions while resizing the bounding box and the image contained within

Another random question, didn't wanna start a new thread.
Is there a way to add guides on all pages, at the same time, rather than just one?
(You can probably guess I don't use InDesign much, I'm using it for the first time just for a Blurb book)

^ Yes, of course. Master pages are your friends!
