gross. sounds like a health hazard and the landlord will likely want to deal with that before they are forced to tear the building apart to deal with bigger issues. for now, sounds like it's only a matter of some hefty bags, rubber gloves and cleaner - in 1 day it's good as new. some people are just lazy and don't mind filth i guess.
