Hi guys,
Ive got an issues with Illustrator (CS4) and my Google searches haven't brought up any solutions.
The issue I'm having is that when I try to select some text, it doesn't show the 'reversed out' selector/selection. I can edit the text and I can move it around, but its highly frustrating not knowing whereabouts the cursor is within a type field.
I'm sure I've just changed a setting somewhere, but I can't for the life of me see what I've changed.
Any help would be brilliant, thanks guys.

^ Thanks Monospaced! that's it.
I think I must have hit cmd+H by accident. bloody annoying how the Adobe suite have a different keyboard shortcut to show/hide the programme!
Thanks again matey.

Myeah, I think I know what you mean and I don't think it's anything to do with any of the typical flags.
Sorry, I don't know of a solution, but I empathise.
The selector's been a bit off for a couple of versions now, no?
- Oh, well shut up.detritus
- Actually, I can't duplicate what I'm on about, now I try... I wonder what I'm remembering here?detritus
